Bimeda Equimax Horse Wormer Paste (3 Pack) is a comprehensive equine dewormer combining 1.87% ivermectin and 14.03% praziquantel. This formulation provides broad-spectrum control against a variety of internal parasites, including tapeworms, large and small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, stomach bots, stomach worms, lungworms, and threadworms.

Indications:

Equimax Paste is indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites:

• Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata.

• Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (including arterial stages), S. edentatus, S. equinus, Triodontophorus spp.

• Small Strongyles: Including benzimidazole-resistant strains.

• Pinworms: Oxyuris equi.

• Ascarids: Parascaris equorum.

• Hairworms: Trichostrongylus axei.

• Large-mouth Stomach Worms: Habronema muscae.

• Bots: Gasterophilus spp.

• Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi.

• Summer Sores: Caused by Habronema and Draschia spp.

• Dermatitis: Caused by neck threadworm microfilariae (Onchocerca sp.).

Administration Instructions:

1. Ensure the horse’s mouth is free of feed.

2. Adjust the syringe plunger to the horse’s weight using the provided markings.

3. Remove the cap from the syringe tip.

4. Insert the syringe tip into the horse’s mouth at the space between the teeth.

5. Depress the plunger to deposit the paste onto the back of the tongue.

6. Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing.

Precautions:

• For oral use in horses only.

• Not for use in horses intended for human consumption.

• Do not use in other animal species, as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs, may result.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid contact with eyes; wash hands after use.
